Join the Excitement: Junior Soccer Season Kicks Off in Term 4!

We are thrilled to announce that our Junior Soccer season is set to kick off in Term 4! It’s the perfect opportunity for young players to get active, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful game of soccer.

What’s New This Season?

We’ve made it easier than ever for teams to register. This year, one parent will be the designated team organiser. Here’s how it works:

1. Team Registration: The nominated parent will register the team – and the best part? There’s no registration fee for this step!
2. Player Registration: Once the team is registered, all parents will then register their players to the team for a fee of $100 for the full term*. This fee covers everything – from registration to all game fees for the entire term. No hidden costs, just pure soccer fun!

*This fee will be pro-rated each week to accommodate players joining mid term

Game Format: 5v5 with Substitutes

This season will follow a 5v5 format, allowing for fast-paced, dynamic games that keep every player engaged. Teams can also bring substitutes, ensuring that all players get a chance to contribute and stay fresh throughout the matches.

Separate Seasons for Term 4 and Term 1:

This year, Term 4 and Term 1 will be treated as separate seasons. Each term will have its own finals, giving every player the chance to shine and compete for glory in a shorter, more focused season.

At the end of Term 4, your child will have the option to register again for Term 1 for an additional fee. This allows them to continue their soccer journey with their team or explore new opportunities in the following term.

How to Register:

• Have your nominated parent register the team
• Once the team is set up, parents can easily register their players using the team code provided to the parent who registered the team

Junior Sport Clinics - Basketball & Soccer

Loftus Recreation Centre runs Junior Clinics for Basketball and Soccer during each school term, and break for school holidays. These sessions are suitable for children aged 5-12.

Please note that this is not run as a licensed OSHC. Parents will need to remain on the premises for the duration of the session to tend to your children as required.

Wednesday Junior Soccer Coaching

60-minute sessions with senior, experienced coaches providing fundamental skills, knowledge, and gameplay required for to enjoy soccer  in a fun, dynamic environment.

• Group 1 (Ages 5-7) - 3:30 - 4:30pm
• Group 2 (Ages 8-13) - 4:30 - 5:30pm

Wednesday Junior Basketball Coaching - Beginners & Advanced 

45-minute sessions with senior, experienced coaches. Children develop fundamental skills, knowledge, and gameplay required for basketball while enjoying a fun, dynamic environment.

We run a junior session at 4:00pm – 4:45pm for children just learning the fundamental skills and a 4:45pm – 5:30pm session for children looking to improve on their games.

Sunday Junior Soccer Match Play & Coaching - Youth (6-14 years olds)

30 minutes skills sessions followed by 30 minutes of game play.

Junior Soccer Round Robin - Terms 2 & 3

Please register your individual player to join our 3v3 weekly round robin tournament. 

$100 provides 10 weeks of 1 hour of dedicated match time per age bracket with the intention to play 3x20-minute games or 4x15-minute games per week.

If you're unable to commit to a full term, we also offer the option to bring your child down and pay a casual rate of $15 per week.

4-5pm - ages 5-8
5-6pm - ages 9-12
*Skill level may influence child's age bracket

If previously part of a team, we will endeavour to keep players together although we are focusing on inclusivity and in the interests of competition, we will rearrange the teams each game within the hour of dedicated match play.
