Mandatory Contact Tracing Requirements

Soft launch of the SafeWA contact tracing app

Loftus Recreation Centre has made the decision to "soft-launch" the SafeWA contact tracing app and manual sign-in registers ahead of the mandated start date on 5 December. This will allow our team to assist any and all patrons entering the centre assistance in downloading the app and testing it to ensure that it will work for them on the start date.

As from 5 December, it will be mandatory for Loftus Recreation Centre to maintain a contact register to collect contact details of ALL members, customers and patrons who enter the facility. This includes all members of the health club and group fitness, all casual enries for health club, group fitness and sports, all user groups including Gymnastics WA, Perth Basketball Association, Prime Movers, WA Powerchair Football Association, Leederville Basketball Club, Little Kickers, Hall's Tae Kwon Do, Loftus Cafe customers and players & spectators to our sporting competitions.

To avoid queues and SafeWA is a free and convenient app to safely and securely register your attendance at Loftus. There will also be manual sign in sheets available for those who do not have a smartphone.
