Loftus Recreation Centre has a large range of junior sports and activities catering for children of all ages and abilities.
KINDY SPORTS
Sports based program for pre-primary age children. A variety of sports played each week encouraging throwing, catching and jumping. Most importantly socialising with other children.
Age Group: 3 - 5 Years
Days: Wednesday 10:30am - 11:30am
Cost: $7.50 per child - no need to book, just turn up on the day
KINDY SOCCER
Encouraging pre-primary aged children the basic skills associated with playing soccer.
Age Group: 3 - 5 Years
Days: Wednesday 3:30pm - 4:00pm
Cost: $7.50 per child - no need to book, just turn up on the day
DANCE CLASSES
Tiny Tots, Hip Hop, Jazz and Classical Ballet are dance classes that are run by our very experienced teacher Miss Caroline. The classes encourage children to learn balance, dancing and coordination in a fun and exciting environment.
Age Group: 20 Months - 3 Years
Days: Thursday 10:30am - 11:15am; Friday 11:30am - 12:15pm (Tiny Tots)
Age Group: 3 - 4.5 Years
Days: Monday 11:15am - 12:00pm; Thursday 11:15am - 12:00pm (Jazz & Classical Ballet)
Age Group: 3.5 - 6 Years
Days: Thursday 3:45pm - 4:30pm (Jazz & Classical Ballet)
Age Group: 7 - 10 Years
Days: Thursday 4:30pm - 5:15pm (Hip Hop)

JUNIOR COACHING CLINICS
Loftus also run Netball, Basketball and Soccer Clinics on a Wednesday afternoon. The purpose of the clinics is to teach basic skills and drills along with a basic understanding of the game. All coaches are highly experienced in playing and coaching.
Age Group: 5 - 12 Years
Days: Wednesday 4:00pm - 4:45pm (5 - 8 years); 4:45 - 5:30 (9 - 12 years, basketball and netball only)

After school weekdays Loftus Recreation Centre comes alive with over 60 teams competing in our Netball, Basketball and Soccer competitions. Age ranges are from 6 years to 16 years. So why not get a group of friends together, come down and join in our after school competitions. It is a great way to keep the kids entertained in a safe environment after school.
